I have put on some weight lately and am now the size of a small elephant. The reason I mention this is that elephants are known for their ability to remember the smallest things and I have remembered that a 29 year old I know is turning 40 today. Do hope she has a fun day full of laughter, nothing like laughter to keep you young. Running around looking for places to hide from a birthday is counter productive as all that does is put stress lines on the face!

And on Monday one of my many son-in-laws is also turning 40. He is more sensible in regards to the inevitable and is quietly going about life as normal.
