Ok so the neurosurgeon finally gave Himself permission to hit the road again after being a very good boy for the last six weeks following his unexpected neck operation. Near drove himself and everyone around him to distraction not being allowed to do anything but sit or walk so he walked and walked and walked some more. Everyone in the caravan park knew us by first names and bless them they always asked how his progress was going. Residents and staff alike. Lovely people, very caring and a huge support to both of us. Note to others do not blow out discs in your neck. Not a fun idea (it hurts lots but the drugs are good!!!). Huge sigh of relief that he can still walk and talk and so forth.
So today we moved for the first time in months and can finally get on with the very flexible plans we had made for ourselves for this coming year. The year is damn near over but Himself says watch this space and try to keep up folks.
